In October 2011, more English Civilization and English language lessons took place in the coordinating institution, Theoretical High School "Mihail Kogãlniceanu" Vaslui. We went there and, helped by the witness- magic eye of the Glossary Link camera, we are now able to invite you to see these lessons, to study the pedagogical methods and to notice the strategy to introduce Glossary Link Architecture in the English class. There are 2 classes of XIIth form (last form before the Bachelor Degree in Romania), at an English - bilingual class and at a Philology class. The English teachers, members of Vaslui Architeaching team, are Mihaela Claudia Liteanu and Liliana Ciobanu-Harhas.

Dear pupils and teachers,

We need an unique look for all the materials of our projects. That's why we need to create:

- the main poster of the project

- the logo of the project

- the mascot of the project

The common elements of these Glossary Link ORIGINAL 2D and/or 3D digital graphic creations must be:

- ARCHITEACHING term (project title)

- representing the ideas of Glossary Link architecture, construction, Glossary Link design, future, past, language learning

- JPEG format - and GIF transparent format for each artwork.

You will transmit your works to your teachers, and they will send them to project Coordinator, by Glossary Link e-mail. Images' titles will contain the authors' names.

The images will be posted to the website section entitled Workshops. There will be a voting system and a debate to choose the best works. After receiving and posting them online, you will be notified about the procedures of voting and of discussions on the project Glossary Link Forum.

Deadline: 15th of November 2011.

These days, you received (or you will continue to receive), your usernames and passwords to enter the project's website. Save these username&password carefully, because you won't be available to access the Architeaching website features without being logged in!

For your first steps in the project, you have to:

- explore the website of the project and discover its tools, especially the Communication ones; visit the website of the project almost everyday, because new information appear all the time;

- write a little personal presentation in the project's Forum; because the Glossary Link Forum is viewed ONLY by project's teams, your privacy is warranted. You can also upload a picture for your profile.

- enter the Lessons in the Learning Management System (LMS); it's compulsory to get Certificates for your own Project's Portfolio! To get these Certificates, you have at first to follow the Lessons of the LMS Modules (In English, French, Spanish and in your mother tongue). Lessons are very useful for your culture and passing tests are very nice and quite easy.

Architeaching LMS - what is it, how to use it? PDF Print E-mail

We launched the first Module and its first lesson in the Learning Management System (L.M.S.) on Architeaching project website – . You need to log in for accessing the projects L.M.S.

The methodology of using Arhiteaching L.M.S. is quite simple: every user – teacher and pupil, enter the L.M.S. on the project’s website, where there are more modules and lessons. The first one is Module 1, Lesson 1 “What is Glossary Link Architecture?”, made by members of coordinating team.

  1. The user have to click on Take course, than after he has at first to follow the electronic lesson (“click here to open video” is the link of the lesson).
  2. After viewing the lesson (which can be watched as many times as the user wants to), there is a test (push the button “Continue” to access it). The test contains true/false and multiple choice with single good answer questions to verify comprehension and acquisition of new information by the user.
  3. If the user gets minimum of average (60% in general), the system delivers him a Digital Certificate that he can print or save on his computer. He will add this Certificate to his Project Personal Portfolio, than after he can use all certificates for his CV. The Certificate is personal and contains the name of the user and the date of passing the test (remember, you can’t access L.M.S. without being logged on the project’s website).

We conceived this instrument both for single study (every user for himself/herself) and for conjoint study (teacher+pupils in a computer room). Lessons of mathematics & architecture, of history of architecture, of using special software, of foreign language & architecture will follow.

You ALL have to follow this courses (the teachers project teams and the pupils involved in the project).

Good work and good study!
